I have to admit, after not having been to a Cinespace tues. in over a year I am very very excited about tomorrow night. Midnight Juggernauts are performing along with one of my all time Vegas favorites, Afghan Raiders. Both of these acts are not to be missed. I caught up with Vincent from Afghan Raiders this past weekend and he says it's going to be a an awesome show! I was also pleased to find out they have added a drummer to their group since I last saw them perform. For more info on the band and tomorrow night's event check here /LINK /AFGHAN RAIDERS /MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS

While i do love condiments, it's the packaging that caught my eye with this ketchup. If anyone has ever tried this please comment on what you think. In the meantime I think I'll order myself a package here /LINK

Captain EO is one of the first things I remember from Disney World as a kid. It was an attraction from 1986-1994 at Epcot Center, and was later replaced with a interactive 3D film based on the movie, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. The full 17 minute original 3D Michael Jackson film is a combination of Star Wars sci-fi action with some amusing special effects and of course.....dancing! It is now back at both US disney theme parks for a limited time so don't miss out /LINK

Oh sweet goodness! /LINK

Here are some photos i took from my time in St. Louis. This area is known as the Lemp district and it houses antiques-shops, homes, museums, restaurants, and a host of other activities, all under the front of 19th-century Victorian houses engulfed in local history and flavor.

Disconnect from Desire is quickly climbing to the top of my Best of 2010.  This album stays on repeat and continues to provide me with new sounds, ethereal landscapes, and catchy melodies to enjoy. It reminds me of an older band i used to love called, Curve, but is catchy enough to compete with Garbage's self-titled first album. Listen to a couple songs below and get the full tracklisting...

I'm constantly seeing more and more of Nomade on the streets of L.A. This collaborative team manages to create large scale street art that not only catches the eye, but makes you want to pull over and figure out what they're all about.  Find more images and a great article covering Nomade's below...

Dana Hollister, the woman behind such Silverlake spots as, Cliff's Edge and 4100 Bar is opening a new bar located in L.A.'s downtown arts district called, Villain's Tavern. 28 beers on draft and cocktails "squeezed to order" are going to make this bar a hit with local east siders and downtowners.  The interior sounds right up my alley with two church pew-adorned patios, deep red walls, chandeliers, and plate-glass windows lined with antique bottles, plus an old 19th-century bar.  "If Jimi Hendrix and Jack the Ripper had opened a bar in the Haight in the 1860's, this is what it would look like," Hollister says. Located at the corner of Palmetto St. and Santa Fe, this bar is scheduled to open sometime this month!

Here is some 2010 work from a fellow classmate and very talented photographer David Benjamin Sherry.

It's funny for me to imagine that Raves like this still happen. It's hard to imagine i was ever as decked out in candy and bracelets as these kids are. It's funny how we grow older and forget that trends stay constant. So here's a little reminder that the term "Rave on" is still going strong....
